Pros

You are working for an organziation that really cares about their members and puts a lot of investment into making improvements whether facilities related, IT related or overall process related. Health IT is the place to be right now and Kaiser is putting dollars in the right places to stay ahead of the curve.

Cons

Very large organization which makes it difficult to navigate through the internal processes. Each region works independently and it is hard to create national standards. However, Senior Leadership is making great strides to implement on a more national basis.

Advice to Senior Management

Continue to watch investment dollars and only fund the initiatives that are going to bring the best value to the member.
