Pros

Great benefits, including health care and pension.

Cons

No leadership
No decision-making at executive level, or at any level
No execution
No drive
No passion to lead, innovate
Not managed as a genuine business enterprise (no concept of ROI...at all, or cost.)

Advice to Management

Need to become market-driven and apply business protocol in order to succeed in new Health Care market.

    Pros

It's core values align very well with the new ACA marketplace.

    Cons

Kaiser is not a nimble organization with a lot of senior leaders so strategic and capital decisions can be painstaking.

    Advice to Management

Recruit talent from outside the organization and outside healthcare to gain fresh business perspectives.
