    Pros

    Freedom to work from home is a nice perk.
    Nice offices, snacks, fruit, soda all available.
    Flexibility if you need to work a short day as long as work is done and hours are made up elsewhere.

    Cons

    Will try to hire at the lowest possible position and salary.
    Some colleagues very weak, adds to pressure on you when they don't perform.
    Some managers will endlessly add to your workload. Can leave you swamped.
    Performance not recognized.
    Very slow progress to promotion

    Pros

    Kana has great people and is very savvy about building a strong product portfolio. Recent acquisitions have added dimensionality to the product line. On the benefits side, the insurance is terrific this year.

    Cons

    Kana tends to be process heavy, which hampers actual productivity. The 401(k) is good to have but there is no company match. As a privately held company, there is also no stock for employees.
