I worked at Keiser University full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

The opportunity to coach and guide rookies and veterans in the nuances of the culinary/hospitality world; in all aspects

Cons

Poor oversight from supervisor's. Many times a blatant ignoring of proper procedures and handling of employees

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to, Learn, Understand, and Respect your labor force and how to beneficially utilize their abilities. DO NOT listen to ONLY the department head. He's NOT always on the front line, which deminishes his insight

Doesn't Recommend
Negative Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Keiser University full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The focus really is on the students and their success

    Cons

Poor technology, no communication between management and staff. Campus president never acknowledged me for six months. Has an open door policy with a closed door. Top management is penny wise and pound foolish.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The hour glass design of management is very inefficient.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Keiser University full-time

    Pros

Great leadership in the financial aid dept

    Cons

Other depts have conflicting goals with financial aid.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management should not just cater to the needs of the admissions dept and should realize that it takes all depts in order to successfully enroll and graduate students.
