I worked at Keller Williams full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

They have so much technology and information available to their employees. They support your growth and advancement to help you become better and stronger in a field that depends on your own efforts to make money.

Cons

Entirely commission driven employment is hard. Perhaps offer some licensing incentives to newer agents?

Advice to Management

Make the roll of Team Leader harder to attain. They are the backbone of the company that drives the working force.

    Pros

Terrific culture of teaching and training. Solid skill building through community.

    Cons

Expensive monthly costs associated with office and data. "Capping" commission structure could be improved.

No leads, waste of monthly fee

I worked at Keller Williams as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

If clients are drawn to brand names, like Tide for detergent, then Keller Williams is a brand name people know. There are an abundance of agents to network or ask questions.

    Cons

Did floor time, all times of day, and all days, never got one lead. Broker told me there are no leads that come in via KW marketing either. You are on your own to get leads. If you need education and coaching about the local area, how to write a contract, logistics of being ethical and legal, then its worth the monthly fee...though most local board of Realtors offer same classes for free most times. If you need leads, in other words you need business, then save your monthly fee and spend it on advertising/ marketing. If you need to take classes about being motivated, they offer them...but if you need motivation you probably should find an hourly paid job.
