Look elsewhere if you value peace of mind and satisfaction. Kellogg's places profit above people, and it shows

    Pros

    None to speak of, sadly

    Cons

Culture of the company is severely disfunctional Zero work/life balance Constant Stress Terrible Management Hostile co-workers The company values profits above people and cares little, if at all, about its employees morale and well being. The work/life balance is non-existant and the stress is constant. There is no passion nor energy here; everyone seems pretty universally checked out and depressed, besides senior management, who can pretty much do as they please.

    Advice to Management

Take care of the people underneath you. Treat your entry level and contract workers much better. Foster a culture of freedom and creativity, rather than mindless drudgery and busywork.

    Pros

Strong brands, good benefits, pay, and summer hours

    Cons

Entire organization full of micro-managers. No one is trusted to do their job. The company has a very old-school mentality in terms of working from home and flexibility; still on the 8am-5pm concept. Employees have constantly stressed this point on employee surveys but management ignores. Therefore, people are leaving the company in masses!!

    Advice to Management

Trust employees to get their work done regardless of their location! LISTEN TO YOUR EMPLOYEES! Act like you care about how hard people work!!!
