I worked at Kellogg Company part-time for more than a year

    Pros

I worked locally and it was a fast paced job that kept me busy at all times.

    Cons

I did not get enough hours to make it worth all the driving I was doing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The turnover is too high and mid management continues to change so I never had anyone to contact besides my direct manager. When someone is hired to work up to 15 hours, then they should work 15 hours not 2 to 4 a week. The reason this job did not work out is because the hours I was given was so low that it only paid for my gas to get to and from the one or two stores a week that I worked.

I have been working at Kellogg Company full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Strong brands, good benefits, pay, and summer hours

    Cons

Entire organization full of micro-managers. No one is trusted to do their job. The company has a very old-school mentality in terms of working from home and flexibility; still on the 8am-5pm concept. Employees have constantly stressed this point on employee surveys but management ignores. Therefore, people are leaving the company in masses!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Trust employees to get their work done regardless of their location! LISTEN TO YOUR EMPLOYEES! Act like you care about how hard people work!!!
