I worked at Kellogg Company full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, good pay, good base company with long standing history.

    Cons

HQ is not aligned with field teams. Your experience will vary depending on your supervisor. Unfair and unethical HR department. Uneducated managers climb the ladder because of length of service to the company and with no management or ER background which results in threatening leadership style. On call 24 hours a day to your customers, employees, and distribution. Regardless if you oversee an area you are responsible for footfalls of others especially if aligns with your role. When you call out issues that are affecting your business you then become the "target".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire FAIR HR and Management in all Zone offices. Look at performance of employees and reward based on that. Stop skirting around port performers because of their race and your fear of law suits. Have upper management and account teams work in field to get a realstic idea as to what your teams work woth on a day to day business. Follow through on your promises, buid trust within your teams.
