Pros

Competitive pay. Advanced vacation pay if needed. Appreciation events: 2 or more company events a year with drinks, dinner, and a chance to connect to other Kelly Mitchell Contractors and Kelly Mitchell Staff.

Cons

Contract work does not provide for severance benefits or pay once the contract ends.

    Pros

    Great work environment,. responsive managers (especially human resources). Supportive and professional staff, excellent benefit plan. Phone calls and emails are promptly returned.

    Cons

    Pay increases are locked out if you are on a contract, no paid holiday, vacation or sick time offered to some classes of contractors

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Look into offering paid time off plans for contractors/consultants on a W-2 and look into offering a cost of living increase on long term contracts, instead of looking into a fixed rate even when contract is extended or renewed.

    The staff is friendly, cooperative, responsive, and good at giving both good and constructive feedback. They know their clients and consultants well.

    Cons

    It would be nice to have paid benefits for employee consultants. Some consulting companies do this, but not all.
