    Pros

KSU obviously offers flexible scheduling because they realize students have classes and other academic commitments, the paychecks never bounce, there is a variety of jobs to choose from on campus, and they're all well within walking distance.

    Cons

Sometimes employees find themselves competing with others for a limited amount of workable hours (though this depends on where you work on campus), and normally the shifts are pretty short so you have to work a lot of short shifts a week to make decent money rather than being able to work longer shifts less days per week.

    Advice to Management

I think a lot of campus jobs, offices and restaurants would be a lot more efficient if the managerial staff actually penalized employees to slack off their entire shifts. These people make more work for other employees but make the same amount of money as their harder-working counterparts. Most of the time there's no incentive for employees to work hard because they'll get paid anyway, and there's no incentive for the managerial staff to hold them accountable because they'll still get paid the same as well.

  2. Above average place for research
