    Pros

Human Resources seemed to be competent. Never had a complaint about that department.

    Cons

There was a ridiculous amount of inappropriate behavior form mid-level staff in client services. You will frequently wonder who is the client and who is the professional. They have a hard time keeping sane staff. Let me put it this way...they are hiring for a reason.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Monitor your mid-level staff and weed out the bad apples.

  2.

Management was inconsistent with staff, encouraging some, marginalizing others, which short changed the team approach.

I worked at Keystone Human Services part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good reputation, quality care and person centered for consumers.

    Cons

Management is limited when working with new employees or staff, especially of new to the management team. Despite a rigorous hiring process and acquisition of knowledgeable staff, new members are faced with a difficult structure that marginalizes chances for success. Overall, Keystone is a quality agency, it could be even better, as well as more team oriented.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Interpersonal skills vary, some management are short, abrupt, while others are on point and effective. Employees new to keystone can find themselves marginalized or feeling unsupported due to quick assumptions. I feel more talent and strengths could be utilized, if recognized and supported with constructive feedback.
