I worked at Kimball Midwest

Pros

Flexible job. Great Training, and good products.

Cons

Commission structure is way out of reach. Big turnover on Employees. NO phone, or mileage benefits. On your personnel phone a lot! Managers goals are unrealistic. Hopefully you will get a territory, if you get a a scratched territory you are basically there to fill holes, and when you cant get any more business, they will force you out, give your accounts to other Reps!

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop being too much of a salesmen, be honest, and have realistic goals for individuals that are new! give rewards based on performance, overall get a better compensation plan, you all have the worst out there!!!

    Pros

They sell some american made product and are a nation wide company so if you wanted to transfer to another state for to work for them it would not be a problem.

    Cons

Bad management from top to bottom. Prices are not competitive so the sales rep can be successful. To many sales rep in the same territory.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start paying attention to your employees they are your companys biggest assets not the bolts, nut ,washers,cb torq spray. Treat your employees the way you would like to be treated !
