Mature business with conservative take of decuisions of his managements.

US has give the control to a few people that look for his own benefit.
Culture of good relation and team building is moving to the culture of look for myself and tell the boss yes sir you are the best.

    I have been working at Kimberly-Clark

    Pros

    A strong culture of family - a good environment to work in from a personal level. Longevity is standard, very low tunrover rate. Prescription drug benefits great. Company vehicles and bonus program standard.

    Cons

    Health and Dental Benefits very minimal and below Canadian standards. Compensation package average and annual increases low. Strict Performance Management system creates esteem issues in many employees.

    Stay focused on increasing the relevance of brands, driving innovation and increasing your talent pool via training, career advancement and by offering attractive compensation and benefits packages.

    Pros

    Competitive Salary. Great people to work alongside. Well known brand names.

    Cons

    Lack of strategic direction. It is often difficult to determine what strategy senior management is following. Management is very short term focused and quickly drops strategies at the slightest hint of trouble. Tends to be a lot of knee jerk reactions to competitive actions. Marketing organization is extremely weak and brands have suffered accordingly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Develop a strategy and stick with it. Determine your brand positioning and compete in that manner. There needs to be significant turnover at the senior leadership level. Consider moving marking from the middle of nowhere (i.e. northern Wisconsin) to corporate headquarters in order to attract better marketing talent. Treat employees with more respect, layoffs, wage/bonus freezes does not = employee satisfaction.
