    Pros

    - Each Kimpton employee across the board is warm and welcoming
     - Manager gives me the attention I need, and when I am speaking with her, that is the most important thing to her at that time
     - You really can write your own career at Kimpton, company pushes for internal transfers
     - Great discounts on travel
     - Manager allows me to seek training and mentoring outside of the company

    - The company is a little decentralized

    Pet Friendly Hotels (usually each hotel has its own "Pet Ambassador"

    Cons

    Unless you are flexible with relocating; opportunities for advancement are limited locally
    Average salary slightly below base for NYC
    Seem pre-disposed to "promote" Kimpton University grads, which are primarly employees of Boston Hotel properties... but then again, they can be had for less money
    Depending on Property; Management challenges are high. This can be attributed to the fact that there are so many who are just starting out in the workforce

    Offer loyal , capable staffers opportunities for promotion, Management training programs. Also vary team members used for task force; there seems to be a select few chosen for these opportunities
