Pros

Growing company Different culture: not necessarily trendy or completely corporate

Advice to Management

You have excellent people within your organization that are looking to grow and develop. Work with them, and give clear guidance as to why as opposed to why not!!

I worked at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - great pay - $50 employee rate at any Kimpton hotels (if you can find one) - decent friends and family discounts - 50% off Kimpton Restaurants on the job - different culture compared to other hotel giants. - LBGT friendly - friendly associates - "fortune 100 best companies to work for" looks great on resumes

    Cons

    - poor benefit packages - different culture compared to other hotel giants 1. No structure 2. No policies 3. No respect for the managements - associates are poorly trained - line staff shows no respect to managers - gossip - does not walk the talk. - favoritism - no encouragement, motivating employees but always yells and only points out the mistakes. - over worked and you will burn out quick

    Advice to Management

Care about your employees. You call us a secret sauce of the company but you do not treat us like it.
