I have been working at Kinder Morgan full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Competitive salary and good benefits

    Cons

Upper managment is dollar driven. This is good but taken to the extreme with some facilities being affected by tight budgets.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look at the maintenace on facilities closer. Appearance goes a long way. A clean well groomed facility is more attractive to customers and safer.

I have been working at Kinder Morgan full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Large company that is a leader in its' industry. Extremely transparent in its' business practices. No executive perks such as private planes, sports tickets, etc. Upper management seems real. Solid company that does not conduct random layoffs. Long term employees (20 years or more) are commonplace.

    Cons

Low salaries; management does not empower individuals; little room for anvancement; not a great work/life balance for individuals with children

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Empower those beneath you to make changes
