I have been working at Kindred Healthcare full-time (more than 8 years)

Pros

Good people to work with. Some high quality management as long as you stay away from the executives

Cons

Greedy execs. Horrible benefits. Take away some bonuses while padding executive pockets. No raises. Maybe they just want us to keep quitting. Ben is not the man I want running this place once Paul turns over the reins.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire some good execs (even though your track record in this area stinks) and quit. Go ruin another company. This place used to be great.

I have been working at Kindred Healthcare full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

People I work with are nice. Pay is decent but doesn't make up for all the benefits that have been cut in recent months. Company is good about encouraging and paying for training.

    Cons

It appears that everyone EXCEPT executive management are having their pay and benefits cut to make budget. Morale is at a low point.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Walk the floors and get in touch with reality. Experience what your staff is seeing, hearing, and feeling.
