I have been working at Kindred Healthcare full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Good people and a good culture mix. Hard working people with a lot going on especially with the transplant patients.

Cons

I have some good days but most of the time management allows non-productive things to go on and it stifles the patients progress.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Grow some balls and take care of the patients first!

    Pros

great technology, and some fantastic people performing the work

    Cons

the company states that it values the workers, but no raises, cut bonuses, and few promotions have eroded the support staff that made the organization successful. most of the really strong technical people are actively searching for other jobs. once they leave, the weaker technical team that is left will not be able to continue the level of service required to complete the organizations tasks. Ironically, the reluctance of executive management to deal with these weaker technical team members is one of the most evident facts that the upper management is out of touch with what is really happening. dealing with the technically weaker team members (through training, or attrition) would provide more help to the rest of the team members. this would reduce stress on everyone, making the situation better, and the goals of the company would be achieved quicker.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

pay attention to the people who are making you successful, and take care of them while you can.
