I worked at Kisco Senior Living

Pros

Compassionate towards residents they try to give them what they pay for.

Cons

To many clicks within upper management at a corporate level. Kisco works their employees to the bone, they don't give much thought to their line staff.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reevaluate yourselves, it is the line staff that make you what your are today!

I have been working at Kisco Senior Living full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Andy Kohlburg has a great vision, but if it's not implemented locally it remains just that. A vision not reality.

    Cons

Treatment of front line employees is horrific. Not given the things needed to care of residents properly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It doesn't make sense to go up on the rent for residents, but go down on the quality of what you're offering them. That's not good customer service. Also, it's not good business to ask employees to lie to families about the qualifications of certain management personnel. It's also not professional to bring in sketchy workers you don't trust then ask other employees to keep their eye on them for you.
