    Pros

    My team is absolutely amazing
Even if you don't have much experience in the industry, you are given the opportunity to advance that you wouldn't get at larger companies
A lot of fun activities in order to release stress and keep you happy

    Cons

Some like to give unrealistic deadlines/poor planning
There are times when long hours are necessary, but such is the nature of the industry

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep the communication flowing and all is well

I have been working at Kixeye full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Smart, experienced, relaxed people who understand fun, and the immense amount of hard work that goes into shipping fun.

    Cons

"getting things done and getting them done well" has evaporated in the past year. Of three games in development, one is behind schedule, and one is slipping.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Higher management seems enthralled by several non-game projects that seem to us grunts to be a dangerous distraction from producing more games. Culture is starting to erode as KIXEYE scales up, and especially with a lot of hires from failed game companies who don't get how we operate.
