I worked at Klick full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Highly competitive with lots of smart people. I grew during my time there. Very strategically sound in its business model. Very strong in technology capabilities and in delivering complex technical solutions

Cons

Questionable integrity especially at senior management level. As a privately owned company, senior management was often very opaque in its operations. Somewhat unpredictable environment

    I worked at Klick full-time

    Pros

Very strong focus on solid business practices and a rigorous eye on individual performance make this a fantastic place to work if you are above the performance bar.
Owners genuinely care about company culture and go out of their way to make Klick a great place to work.
Size, scale and expertise of the company open up lots of interesting possibilities for innovative digital work.
Focus on process and continual evolution of Klick operations has created a remarkably ego-free work environment.

    Cons

Complexity of projects, process and project teams make this environment difficult for people who have not reached a certain level of capability in the digital space.
Rapid growth has meant hiring a few poisonous duds along the way - you can easily spot their reviews on here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't worry about the ill-will you see in some of these reviews - it's just an unfortunate outcome of your rapid growth. Keep doing what you're doing, gents.

I have been working at Klick full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Great culture
    - Crazy growth means tons and tons of opportunity
    - It's independent, so no quarterly shareholders to make happy, less red tape, small decisions are easy
    - Smartest group of people I've ever worked with, by far
    - Really hard hiring practices means fewer duds than most companies
    - It's ok to break stuff if it's stupid
    - Generous when times are good (and they pretty much always are)
    - High-risk means big, interesting bets
    - Some ridiculous rewards for top performers: porsche for a week/month, shopping sprees, trips, support when projects are tough (meals, groceries, cleaning, etc.)
    - A lot of all-employee events

    Cons

    - Super high-performing culture. Can be difficult to adjust to when you arrive because you my be used to being the smartest person in the room.
    - Some people have been here literally forever. Can mean stagnation and unawareness of other ways of doing things.
    - It never. ever. stops.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't let big mean bad. Worry about scaling everything we have now.
