    Pros

If you want to make money as a hourly employee, this is a great company. The pay scale is very bottom heavy. It takes a few promotions to make as much as you would as an hourly employee. If you work hard and are competant, there will be opportunity for you to advance. The company is increasingly concerned about safety which is a good thing.

    Cons

like many other companies in the industry, somehow a few idiots have managed to be promoted to a point of incompetency. Summers will be very long hours and little chance of getting time off.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Affirm the blue collar guys often. If they feel appreciated, they will work harder.

The new President loathes technology and is one of the few executives in the world that doesn't recognize the importance of technology and sees it only as a way for employees to waste time. He'd rather we all used abaci

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

When making decisions about who to promote and who to RIF, actually talk to employees who work with those people. Make decisions based on merit instead of who your friends are.
