I worked at Knorr-Bremse Group as a contractor (more than a year)

    Pros

    - I've got to work in a great team with a lot of wondeful people if the job was only about that, then this review would be five stars.
    - I've worked on an interesting project using relatively new technologies.
    - The office is in a factory which looks very interesting at the first week of work.

    Cons

    - After the first week, the bad smell and loud noises from the machines (remember its a factory where the offices are located) are very disturbing and there are no natural light in the offices except at some spots.
    - Upon leaving the factory there is an illegal search of ALL of your belongings if you get a "red light".
    - From one day to another the company removed all the cutlery from the kitchen and we had to buy them ourselves.
    - Little to no support for development processes and needs: one time we were unable to access our servers that were being used in trial projects for one whole week (!) when they changed remote log in protocols
    - It is incredibly hard to get a normal raise even if you deserve it and even if the management called your work excellent

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You should treat your employees as your assets not as your enemies.
