Doesn't Recommend
Negative Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Kohl's as a contractor (More than a year)

Pros

Easy; not very challenging. Coworkers are generally pleasant and easy to interact with.

Cons

No opportunity for advancement unless you're in management. Low pay, no benefits for contractors. Keep temps on for either very short or extended periods versus hiring qualified workers. Constant IT issues that slow productivity.

Advice to Management

Offer benefits for long-term contractors.

I have been working at Kohl's full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, decent benefits, decent pay

    Cons

Like any call center there is favoritism and consistency amongst the mangers and trainers etc. is not good.

    Advice to Management

Try to make sure managers, Team leads and all department's are all on the same page with information and rules. It leaves and employ constantly second guessing themselves when we are in the middle of a call with customer's amongst other things. Also re-think attendance policy, every two days equaling and occurrence rack of pretty fast if an employee gets a flu, in an accident or any type of emergency that last longer than two days or if you happen to get sick on the day before your off and still sick the day after. Example sick Saturday, off Sunday, sick Monday= 2 occurrences. This can put an employee in a bad spot when you can rack up 3 occurrences in one week!! causing the high turn over rate.
