Pros

+schedule flexibility
+able to make adequate compensation if you are willing to work hard
+people! I have met some of my closest friends in the last few years

Cons

+every day is a new day.
+management does not seem like they care about employees as individuals
+no chance for advancement
+ commission has been cut and it makes employees feel undervalued for working hard.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

threatening salespeople is NOT motivating! the best motivator is positive reinforcement and help to find better ways to be successful. numbers do not always reflect the amount of work and if they are not where they should be then there needs to be an evaluation of the ENTIRE sales cycle, not just the sales portion

    Good culture and people. Young environment

    Cons

    Micromanagement to an extreme. 150 phone calls and numerous cold calls in a commodity industry. Not a good experience for a recent college grad. Very disheartening.

    Pros

    The training program is good. Good experience for begining sales people.

    Cons

    There was a lot of turn over both in sales and in the management. Monthly sales quota seemed unrealistic based on what everyone actually did.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    increase the commission margins, every location is different but if not a single sales associate is at plan for the year than it might be a good indication that the quota needs to be adjusted.
