Get experiencd mid-level sales management in place. Promote each individual's sales strength for success. Stop focusing on dollar volume and focus on helping sales reps make money (the dollar volume will take care of itself). Motivate by positive means

    Fantastic product and solutions; knowledgeable solutions techs; great training program; certain regions have it down pat to develop the sales teams.

    Cons

    Certain regions have too many mangement changes.

    Find leaders in the mid-management regional level that know how to develop the sales team by using each person's strengths and talents.

    Pros

    health benefits are good, flexibility when making quota to take personal time out of the office, great group of other executives

    Cons

    much cold calling, make a sale and no proper support after the sale (the install is a mess and clients want to return the gear), high turn over (when I was starting we had all new managment as well)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    become a mentor and have a personal touch, this is a low salary and if you want a good sales team you need to positively motivate not scare them each week
