Pros

Kraft foods offers good salary levels and great benefits, a supportive work environment, and some great opportunity for advancement. They give you a company car with all expenses paid, and the opportunity to win trips and other things for acheiving sales goals. Good bonus plan and reachable sales goals. Good equipment and data to help with sales presentations. Great people to work with and a good, positive work environment. Kraft is a solid company and the food business is somewhat recession proof.

Cons

Not as many opportunities unless you are able to relocate. Salaries do not get really high although you can make a good living working for kraft.

Advice to Management

Provide state of the art sales marterials to the sales staff, provide latest information gathering systems to sales staff. Continue to develop healthy foods across all categories to remain competetive.

    Pros

No 1 in most categories. Good benefits including health insurance, 401K, competitive salaries for management level staff.

    Cons

Very process driven. Management very secretive. Have moved away from a professional sales force and more toward an hourly low wage field staff. Many of their products are in mature categories and can be tough to sell.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like the valuable assets you say that they are!! Spend more on R&D to improve your new item pipeline.

    Pros

Good corporate environment. Large company allows for movement among functions providing additional challenges.

    Cons

Lack of support for working remotely and for non-strategic locations...ie Northfield or East Hanover. Job security is nearly non-existant with all the workforce reductions we've had over the last 5 years.

    Advice to Management

Be more flexibile in your ideas of what work looks like with all the new technology available today. We no longer have to be tied to the office or a specific location.
