Pros

Good pay; you can learn the basics

Cons

People are not treated well.... not recognized, no takes the time to get to know the people working next to you. Very cold environment.

Advice to Senior Management

Spend much more time on the people side; out side of that you are making many right decisions but the way I have seen people treated lately is very discouraging. When the economy picks up you will lose many good people. We have a fairly new leader in my function (about 4 months) ... and I have yet to meet this person.
