bureaucracy, slow to market, continual downsizing / not backfilling open positions, overanalysis is frequently and issue, lack of marketing spending on many brands, lots of "show and tell" decks and presentations that are nice and informative, but do little to drive results, resistance to change, growing desire to hire externally limits opportunities for internal candidates, true innovation can be derailed by overreliance on process.
