Kroger – “Honest Assesment”

Pros

Management salary base is good. Dont try and figure it by the hour tho! 50 hr. minium (and it is the minium!)

Cons

They cry from the rafters that their "people are great", but they treat their associates as nothing more than tools in a toolbox. When they need them for some big visit, they pull them out and work them to death, then when the coast is clear, they cut their hours and expect them to pay their bills. I am very disenchanted with the "integrity" value they preach. It seems that it is only expected from the lower level workers

Advice to Senior Management

Please try to remember what it was like to be at the bottom level of customer service. Try to remember what it was like when a big visitor came to visit....please remember that your most valuable resource is your asociates. I hear every week that the paycheck they received came from a customer, but please remember that without the frontline associate, there would be no customer.
