Kronos – “Kronos is good but big company.”
Pros
Your work has a big impact across a lot of customers. I believe there is a lot of opporunties to impact your work area and other groups that you interact with. Project planning is interesting as Agile/Scrum is used to create short sprints of work and packaging of efforts into digestible deliverables. The people are great to work with and the environment is open and conducive to innovation. There is flexibility in work schedules and work life balance is important to both direct management and indirect (a couple of floors up). I believe this keeps up the morale around here. Senior management marches slowly forward in good strategic steps.
Cons
You are working for a large company with significant bureauracy. The bureauracracy tends to make change difficult to instill in a distributed workforce required to implement the Kronos products. The benefits, while not bad are at market but not above. Compensation is okay as the HR function keeps a tight handle on wages and Kronos does not pay above market at any time. As with a large bureauraacy communication stumbles daily. Each group seems to have another agenda and without strong communication we can and do step on each others toes from time to time. Because our division is on the opposite side of the country from HQ we are the wild children away from the nest.
Advice to Senior Management
More Leadership in people management.

Additionally, you speak of scrum to meet goals and innovation, but perhaps one does such without thought to scalability ..
