I have been working at L. B. Foster full-time (less than a year)

Pros

L.B. Foster offers full health benefits, work clothes with laundry service, comfortable work hours, and advancement opportunities.

Cons

Not for someone who can't lift a sledge a few dozen times a day, or stay focused and be aware of various moving equipment and work.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

The amount and quality of a product determines customer satisfaction. A suitable work pace needs to be addressed to ensure the safety of the employees, and the quality of the product. Also, I believe the employees that work in production and q.c. work hard for their dollar. A raise in wages would benefit in many ways.

    I worked at L. B. Foster part-time

    Pros

Structured to a certain extent. Training is a big plus. They do try to help the people to have the right tools to improve.

    Cons

Communication from the top down was not there. Promises were made but never materialized. Sometimes things happened too fast and the employees were left behind.
