Pros

L.B. Foster offers full health benefits, work clothes with laundry service, comfortable work hours, and advancement opportunities.

Cons

Not for someone who can't lift a sledge a few dozen times a day, or stay focused and be aware of various moving equipment and work.

Advice to Management

The amount and quality of a product determines customer satisfaction. A suitable work pace needs to be addressed to ensure the safety of the employees, and the quality of the product. Also, I believe the employees that work in production and q.c. work hard for their dollar. A raise in wages would benefit in many ways.

    Pros

Good Work-Life Balance Actively promoted healthy living and often had athletically related events for employees interested (e.g. ball hockey at lunch, bike-to-work week challenges, etc.) Good people to work with Stable industry Intern compensation is ok but a touch on the low-side compared to the average

    Cons

Old industry, not a lot of innovation
