    Cons

leave ur dignity, respect, values, clueless work culture, attacks by own team at client place, cheap indian cultural biases, tiny projects, china factory work culture, if u r US work experienced guy stay away from this co as they do not know how to induct fresh experience talnt n build n help u grow rather take urs n kick u out and expect so unwelcoming experience. ur privacy, personal details at risk at the hands of unexperienced project leads.

Former Employee - Ex Employed in Mumbai (India)

I worked at L&T Infotech full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good training for freshers, the co has been doing it as a good service to freshers and giving them up once the minimum commitment period is over

    Cons

    - Too much of politics
    - Political appraisal mechanism (they target to beat excellent performers that pushes back a lot. The poor appraisal mechanism usually is not in favor of lateral entrant and people that are hired in US / UK or any countries other than India) - Solid proofs available
    - Unethical HR practices (eg., hire a person at US, sporadically relocate the person to various countries for no reasons, frustrate / harass the employee till he quits)
    - Factory / transactional mindset
    - More staff aug project and less of strategic / large deals
    - Political process for assigning key roles even to excellent performer (Eg., given a key role assignment and cancelled the assignment for no valid reasons - proofs are available)
    - Just to lower the salary, US / UK work permit documents usually gets forged to show lower role, many L1 people are working at client location (if any employee raises concern, they will be put in trouble) - Proofs available
    - Making loss to exiting employees ie., paying just about 25 % of the total allotted incentives - Solid proofs available (even for a top performer) and also unnecessarily dragging their final settlement (final pay, PF, etc) (To mgmt - just to save few INR, don't do this practice, you are losing your value in the job market, no efficient lateral will join you, it is a small world, you got to meet the same people again - Penny-wise pound foolish)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change the mgmt style / policies, overhaul / revisit to the policies / informal unethical practices. The parent co may be multi-billion brand, think about yourselves and consider your employees as your intellectual assets. Parent co should sell off this L&T Infotech to an another IT player as the parent L&T is unable to manage it.
