    Pros

Free membership. Brand recognition. The company holds the highest standards for membership sales in the industry.

    Cons

Company sends out an email to all ex-members after they cancel notifying them to re-join online. Prospect arrives at the club and you spend your time touring, and discussing thier goals, then you get no credit for that time at all.

    Advice to Management

Texting your GM's at 11pm AND/OR at 530 am about your daily review/commitments is uncalled for.
Stop promoting glorified salesmen to general manager positions when they have no SKILL at all in managing people or the numbers or the business.

    Pros

Fun atmosphere, decent pay, good hours

    Cons

one of the things you are required to do which they don't tell you about at the beginning is calling members who have failed to make their monthly payment, to update their credit card information. often times, these members are angry or feel cheated in terms of the monthly contract/personal training contract. The sales people who initially sold these memberships should have to talk to these people, but instead the receptionist is required to make a certain amount of calls a day. the sales people can be pushy.

    Advice to Management

talk to the employees to make sure all information is being passed around properly
