I loved working with my Clients, but LA Fitness Ripped them off!

I have been working at LA Fitness part-time (more than an year)

Pros

they provide you with clients as they sign them up.
Very Flexible schedule as you create your own with your clients

Cons

Clients get locked into high rates from pushy salesman.
sessions are only 30mins long, so the pay is actually $8/ session (If you don't book back to back clients your pay is $8/hr instead of $16

Advice to ManagementAdvice

improve your customer service to the members! There are many unhappy members!

    fun place to work free membership with job to any la fitness!

    Cons

    beginning off sales membership sales make only minum wage and basically commission and there is no benefits so to keep more of them need to start off with better pay

    I have been working at LA Fitness full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    -Potential to realistically make 80k your first year
    -If you are hungry to make money you can
    -The sales managers / vice presidents are brilliant at selling and will help you become better
    -If you like the gym atmosphere you will fit in well

    Cons

    -The hours are long and draining
    -It's difficult to maintain a social life
    -Most people do not do well in this position because of the stress
    -Out of the 7 clubs I've been to there are no break rooms
    -If you cannot sell you will earn minimum wage (not necessarily a con, but for some yes)
