    Pros

they provide you with clients as they sign them up.
Very Flexible schedule as you create your own with your clients

    Cons

Clients get locked into high rates from pushy salesman.
sessions are only 30mins long, so the pay is actually $8/ session (If you don't book back to back clients your pay is $8/hr instead of $16

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

improve your customer service to the members! There are many unhappy members!

I worked at LA Fitness full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Free gym membership. Learned how to lie and manipulate people. Sad.

    Cons

Work off the clock or you won't make money. Work 90+ hours a week and if you don't break commission you get paid minimum wage. Commission is broke when you make more selling memberships than you would hourly. Gorilla Marketing ~ Must find your own leads to generate business. Management gets all walk ins. Even when goals are reached they set them even higher to be unachievable.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Demeaning employees is not a motivator. Your turn over is so high because you simply do care about employees. You use them until they are broken down and have no soul left.
