    Pros

we have some great members who are really sincere and motivating as well as inspirational and grateful.

    Cons

Minimum wage doesn't cut it when you have to open the gym at 5am, make calls for the company to collect money && deal with customer service issues concerning the equipment that never gets fixed.

I worked at LA Fitness full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Free membership, most of the other co workers are great to work with.

    Cons

Long hours, minimal training, a lot of demotion and transferring between clubs with little notice. All GM's and VP's care about are making money and they will do whatever it takes to get there. They say you can move up fast but what that really means is that they promote you, set ridiculous goals for you to reach in a week, then demote you when you fall short of their ridiculous demands.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Change pay structure. Actually train your Counselors and don't throw them into deep water before they are fully trained and able to qualify.
