Pros

Free membership, free classes, get to know personal trainers & discounted personal training, and same people come in every day that you get to know

Cons

Terrible pay, terrible hours, management and the business itself is so shady, training is awful, all anyone cares about is "numbers" and not people at all. Creepy people at night when there is only 1 front desk person. Sales people yell at front desk staff when they lose a sale. Just kind of soul sucking. Management and sales are constantly trying to con people out of money and the sales people constantly lie to people and stick you with covering for them after they close the sale.

Advice to Management

At least pretend to care about your employees and your customers. I only met 1 employee in a management role that seemed to care at all and he was SO overworked and devalued it made me sad.

    Pros

Management is always willing to listen

    Cons

On the downside when they listen that is all they do. They are well aware of the inner issues, power struggles and techniques their sales team uses (and I don't blame them, it's a hard job with little to no payout) and yet they do not do anything about it. They also give you 7 hour days instead of 8 so they can have you come in an almost full sixth day with no additional pay. Say goodbye to any sort of personal life.
