    Established firm
    Reputation looks good on print
    Some people stayed for a long time but you wonder why when you work there

    Cons

    Do not welcome new comers
    Good old boys keeps women out of the ranks or doing significant tasks
    Greedy and competitive
    Limited access to advancement
    Do not follow through on hiring promises
    General a hostile environment with little team spirit

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Enact a real sexual harassment program
    Follow through on EEO promises
    Read some management books and learn how to deal with people
    Welcome new hires and make a place for them

    The lack of competitive salaries and bonuses is below the norm in Dallas

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    If salaries cannot be increased to equal the normal pay for interior designers in the Dallas area, then there should be other compensation to offset it, such as additional paid time off.
