I have been working at LHC Group full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

The organization describes themselves as a family and it truly feels that way. People are compassionate and genuinely concerned about others.

Cons

Growing pains. Rapid growth has created some holes in process and focus. Need to invest more in education and development of employees at all levels.

Advice to Management

Re-evaluate tenured leaders throughout the organization to determine if they continue to have the requisite skills in this rapidly growing environment.

I worked at LHC Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay was good. Home life balance was good too. If you had some reason you couldn't come in, department management was understanding.

    Cons

Network is way too spread out when your job is to collect information for marketing services. Executive offices are far removed from the underlings.

  2. I've gained quite a lot of experience from working here.

I have been working at LHC Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Meeting and working with all types of people.

    Cons

Can be like working in high school at times with too many gossipers and the "popular kids" bullying others.

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to your employees that keep your company running. If it weren't for the nurses and CNA's you wouldn't have a multimillion dollar company. Stop treating them as if they are just another number. Before the company went public on the stock market, the employees were treated very well. Since you now have to answer to shareholders, it seems as if you care more about the money than people. Lest you forget it's supposed to be "All about helping people"!
