LSG SKY Chefs – “Good Potential but Excellent International Business Opportunities”

Pros

Overall, it was an interesting place to work. I did learn a lot specifically about international business. I definitely think that there is potential growth but the airline industry is anything but stable.

Cons

Airline industry can be topsy-turvy and I think that made people somewhat sad. Management should take better care in ensuring that employees are happy and productive.

Being owned by a parent German company can be tough at time. Sometimes the right answer would not be accepted because it was not the German opinion of what the solution should be.

Turnover was extremely high when I was there due to people exiting as the economy improved.

Advice to Senior Management

Diversify outside of airline catering. They have the capacity to expand into new catering markets.
