Dying industry provides few growth opportunities amid huge cutbacks

Irving, TX

Former Employee – worked at LSG Sky Chefs

ProsCubicles are nice and computers are up to date. People are pleasant for the most part. Top management is trying to make things better, but it is difficult for them to do that with so many cutbacks.

ConsEven though it is a large corporation, professionalism is lacking. There is no training for managers on how to be more effective and no training is provided for employees. There are few employee activities and those that exist are usually focused on asking employees to donate to charities. No raises were given to employees for about 10 years so it is difficult to give when you are not receiving.

Advice to Senior ManagementPay more attention to what is going on in the departments. Interview at least one employee per week to ask what improvements can be made. Don't wait until the exit interview.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
