Pros

Great environment, family friendly. Low pressure for the entire institution in general.

Cons

Not room to advance. No salary increases in 5 years. No money for training (but if you want to present at a conference, they'll find money for that)

Doesn't Recommend
Negative Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I have been working at LSU full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Great university atmosphere, fun campus, great department leadership

    Cons

The LSU AgCenter hires the inept, incompetent and middle school mentality leadership. If you are lazy and incompetent you will be promoted and given a raise. If you do your job and are competent you will be asked to carry the incompetent and will be expected to complete your responsibilities as well as others. Leadership makes decisions that they are not qualified to make and will not consult with those that have the knowledge. Not a sustainable entity!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire and promote based off of qualifications and accomplishments, rather than those you think you can manipulate.

    Disapproves of CEO
