    Pros

Cool products is about all I can say. Although I rarely see them.

    Cons

Limited responsibility, little empowerment, incompetent and uncaring management at all levels. Little brand building. LVMH buys world-class brands built over decades and centuries and rapes them of their equity by maximizing financial results with absolutely minimal brand investment. The freebies and discounts on "group" products are surprisingly nonexistant.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There are some really strong consumer packaged goods and luxury goods companies out there. Maybe you should conduct a case study and see whether there is something to learn.

    Pros

Leader in the luxury industry. Promotes continuing education. Fun atmosphere and interesting industry. Young, energetic staff.

    Cons

They tend to promote European ex-pats over American employees. They also like to hire from the outside for upper level positions. There is little opportunity to move from one division to another.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management needs to solicit more feedback from those under them. Divisions also need to communicate and collaborate more.
