La Petite Academy, learning every step of the way.

Employee (Current Employee)
Cypress, TX

ProsThe best reasons to work for La Petite Academy are because 1. reduced tuition if you have children, 2. it has a wonderful curriculum that truly enhances childrens knowledge, and 3. because you get to influence the lives of children and watch them grow.

ConsSome of the downsides of working for La Petite Academy include that the pay is low for the amount of work and dedication that must be put into the day to day activities and interactions with the children. In addition, the company does not give very significant annual raises to its employees.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe advice that I would give to Senior Management would be to recognize the amount of work it takes to implement the curriculum and to watch more closley the Directors. I believe the Directors should be required to clock in and out like everyone else to reflect the amount of time they put into a work week. Often the expectation is a 45-50 hour work week and many work 35 on a good week leaving the rest of management to fend for themselves and deal with the parents.
