I have been working at LabCorp full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

They were willing to hire me. My schedule is regular hours M-F. I am getting lots of variety for the blood draws.

    Cons

Vacation time is difficult to get. Frequently short staffed due to lack of coverage for people being out sick or on vacation. Hearsay from other employees easily makes it onto reviews.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Just because wait times go down it doesn't mean that we can do a bunch more stuff.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at LabCorp full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Not much in the pro section - the offer 4 weeks vacation after 5 years of service.

    Cons

Unless you have a VP title, there are no bonuses, pay increases are limited, they have lay offs every quarter, they never commend you on a job well done and you are identified as a number.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat people like human beings that bring value into an organization. Retention used to be important - too bad it's not anymore.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
