    Positive Outlook

I worked at Lancaster General Hospital full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The organization has good core values with average employee benefits and incentives. The organization is attentive to technological advancements and modernization of their facilities.

    Cons

Salaries are not competitive in comparison to national averages. The Mentoring philosophy is weak with marginal attention to Succession Planning.

I have been working at Lancaster General Hospital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible with schedules, learning atmosphere, experience for working with one of the largest health networks in lancaster county

    Cons

Management does not always take into consideration school schedules. The hospital pays to have its workers go to school to become future health professionals, but often does not know how to accommodate scheduling.

    Advice to Management

Take the time to speak to all your workers on every shift. The trickle down effect does not work in informing your staff on new changes.
