    I have been working at Landry's full-time

    Pros

    The paychecks haven't bounced yet.

    Cons

Constant verbal abuse and not-so-veiled threats are the norm from sadistic Regional Managers. The salaries are just enough to keep a steady stream of next-in-line managers enticed to replace the ones who burn out in a matter of months. Managers are encouraged to berate hourly employees who don't sell their frequent dining program to their unrealistic expectations. Do yourself a favor and don't subject yourself to this culture of fear and abuse.

I worked at Landry's full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

They have a gym. Were allowed to wear jeans every day (which contributed to unprofessional atmosphere). If you do not have a degree - they will hire you but only because they can pay you peanuts and work you to death.

    Cons

Negative culture, horrible management from top down, micromanage, lack of talent, sloppy, you feel like you are on Geraldo Rivera because their employees are single mothers with multiple baby daddy's who constantly rant about their lives, overworked, completely disorganized, overcrowded cubicles with no storage space (fire hazard, were fined by the fire dept), low salary, expensive health care ($500/month for my family), lack of communication, poor corporate culture, Look at Tilman Fertitta's reputation - do you really think his company would be good to work for or his services have any value?, You work 60 hours a week and take 2 hours off to go to the doctor and they force you to take 1/2 sick day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees like human beings is a start.
