Former Employee – worked at Lantheus Medical Imaging
Pros – You'll do well if you're at or above the Director or VP level. Below that you're at the mercy of others "opinions" of you...in many cases higher ups that don't even know you. Employees are treated and compensated better in those departments which are disassociated from daily manufacture of products.
Cons – In just under 4 years since Lantheus has acquired the business, over 250 employees have been layed off. The layoffs continue to this day. Significant numbers are layed off, typically every other quarter with a scattering of individuals being picked off in between. Lower level layed off positions are not back filled. Instead, more Directors and VP's are hired?! This continuosly puts added pressure on lower level employees to pick up the slack...and ultimately some of them will be next to go. People are finally starting to smarten up and leave for a better place to work before they are used up and tossed out. Departments to avoid where employees are treated badly: Manufacturing, Quality, Packaging, Distribution, Customer Service. More cushy and higher paying positions exist in Marketing, Sales, Legal, Human Resources, and Regulatory Affairs.
Advice to Senior Management – Advice to Employees: Don't waste your time or breath with feedback. Instead follow management's lead and do what is best for yourself, which for the majority of people is to find a job elsewhere.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
