Pros

Wide variety of project experiences and client interaction.
Excellent career opportunities frequently arise, internally and externally.
Some of the best and smartest people I've ever worked with!

Cons

Work/Life balance hard to maintain - though the company will make special arrangements when needed based on situations in your life - these come with no repercussions either

    Pros

This is my first job and I've been with LatentView for more than 4 years and I guess that should explain a lot. Compensation in the US is in par with most analytics companies and in fact on the higher end compared to other big analytics companies. You are appreciated to do things independently and right tools are made available to those who want to explore new things above and beyond what their job role requires to do. For e. g., an analyst not only works on client deliverables but also is encouraged to

    1. Do sales pitch decks,
    2. Involving in marketing efforts such as writing industry related blog articles, increasing the company's presence on Social Media, conducting college-wide contests etc.,
    3. Recruitment and much more

Most analysts work with the clients directly which ensures a very good learning curve for people like me who are fresh out of college. Onsite (long/short) opportunities are tremendous.

    Cons

Since it is a growing company and is completely client oriented, working late hours is unavoidable. Training, when I joined 4 years ago, wasn't extensive however the new recruits now go through a rigorous training process before they get deployed into projects which is a good thing.

    Pros

Very easy to crack the interviews

    Cons

Colleagues are highly unprofessional and unfriendly.
Not welcoming to the new employees.
    Perks are none.
Higher management people are unprofessional and inexperienced.
People gets personal very often which is again not professional.
Work/Projects are extremely easy and not challenging at all, and would not provide employees personal growth.
New Ideas and techniques put forward by an employee is highly discouraged.
Politics involved among people working in the company for longer period.
Traditional analytics, no room for cutting edge analytics
Team management needs to be improved a lot
Among the least salary offered by any analytics firm in the US.
    Very minimum paid leaves.
    No Work-Life Balance.
    Onsite people are very unfriendly.
Prefer Tamils over others: Please be open to others as well.

    Advice to Management

Do not hire people with interests/Skills in advance analytics/Business knowledge, as it impacts their career goals.
